Nǐhǎo, je m'appelle Minyan, language leaner turned product designer, curious learner and life-long thinker, I’ve worked as educator in France, new media strategist in China and now back to student life in U.S.

People always asked: Why you switched your major? It’s such a big change. For me, it’s quite obvious and similar.

The reason why I learned languages is because I want to understand people better and communicate with them.

Product design using the same logic: you have to understand peoples’ need or in the industry we say users’ need, in another way, the real problem lie in the life. And then, you try to communicate with users, observe them, do your research, try to find the best way to give a solution that can solve the problem, or we can say design the ideal experience that can interact with users in a delightful way.

So here I am, exploring the method and tools that I can use to better understand people and solve their problems!

I dance in my free time, that’s my recharge zone. I especially enjoy KPOP dance, dance with my fellows and bring the best performance with all our efforts is the best thing!

I also love Manga, they inspired me and encouraged me, my favorite Manga line?Ahhhh (>﹏<) they are too many!!!
